First gig in San Francisco with, no more no less that The Cowboy Junkies. A couple of times I have tried to see them in NY without success, but finally here I made it. The venue was the Gran American Music Hall. Small but comfortable venue, glass of wine and good partner.
They played amazingly, but her voice, oh my god her voice. Only a few times I've found a voice better in live than recorded, and this is one of them (the other time was Suede in the International Festival of Benicassim). Anyways, a great joy of a concert and a very good beginning for this city. Thanks!
